About Me

Welcome to my blog. I’m so happy you landed here. It’s nice to have a place where I can share my ideas and writing. Research is something I do naturally. In the past, I’ve gathered information together and then dropped it or moved on to something else. I see this, the blog, as a place where I can write up what I have researched and learned. Before, it was like catching a fish and throwing it back in the water. It was difficult to remember the details but now, if I write it up, it will be there, as permanent as anything else is. The greatest thing is being able to share what I am all about. Some things you may find here will grate on you. I think that’s okay. Let’s dialogue. Don’t be shy. Let me know how you feel.

“Lucy’s Blackboard” is a short story and a work of fiction. The names, characters, places, and incidents are either the product of my imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, events or locales is purely coincidental.

The memoir is about the two years I spent in Burma, 1969 to 1972. There have been requests so I added Chapter two. Thanks for reading. Keep doing that and I might just finish it. I have over three hundred pages on it so far. It got stuck too. It needs a disciplined mind. Oh no!

I’ve been going to the movies so there will be movie reviews. I belong to a group that reads a short story every week so I may have comments on the stories.

Lastly, I want to write about a number of things that I seem to get passionate about. This is new to me and I don’t know where it is going but come along. Keep me company.//

I’m still trying to figure it out. I can’t write about it until I understand it. Hannah

It was getting to be too much of a saga. I’m hoping for health and calm for awhile so I can get on with something else.

I’m looking forward to it too. 12th century sounds like it will need a lot of research. I’m looking forward to reading some of it.
